How big is your tank?
4’ x 20” x 14” approx. 200L

What equipment are you using (filtration, lighting, heater, CO2 gear etc)?
2 x Eheim 2217s, Fluval Aqualife & Plant LED Light on a timer, Eheim 200 Watt heater

What aquascaping have you done (gravel, plants, corals, etc)?
Low tech and low maintenance, play sand substrate, random river rocks, ‘Branchy’ driftwood, Amazon Swords and Vallisneria, root fertiliser tabs.

How much time do you spend maintaining your tank per week?
Approximately 2 hours per week.
2-3  weekly 25% water changes using treated, aged & heated water. I use  a trolley/drum/pump setup to pump the water out and into the tank.
Monthly clean of a 2217, trim the plants and clean the algae off the glass.
Seachem Prime each water change, Stability, Clarity, Flourish & Excel dosed weekly.

What do you feed the inhabitants of your tank?
3 times daily via Eheim autofeeder, mix of equal parts of Tropical D-Allio Plus Granulat, Discus Gran D-50 Plus and Tetra Colour Tropical Granules. Evening treat of Hikari Frozen Bloodworm

Tell us some interesting/unique about your tank?
This tank is a result of 30 years of waiting. I worked in an aquarium when I was a kid and always wanted to keep Discus but never had the time/funds/resources/space. The tank started off as a community tank for my son and ended up as my Discus tank.
