Silver Perch are a relatively peaceful fish although they must be kept with other active species that cannot fit in their mouth and will not be scared by their activity. Silver Perch can be kept as a single species, or with other larger species.

Diet:
Silver Perch are omnivores and are easy to feed. They readily accept pellets as the primary diet. Naturally they have a high protein diet eating insect larvae, crustaceans and plant matter. For healthy Silver Perch, ensure to feed a varied diet that includes live, frozen and freeze dried blackworms, bloodworms, brine shrimp and daphnia.
