Princess Cichlids are pairing fish. This is the albino princess cichlid variation. Needs several hiding places (caves). Best kept in a small group with 6 or more. Juveniles up to 2.5 cm help guard younger siblings.

Princess cichlids are schooling fish. For a species only tank, a minimum of 75 litres is suggested. However, a larger tank of 200L or more would be required if mixing with other species.

Princess cichlids can be kept in spacious aquariums with other medium-sized species, such as Julidochromis ornatus. However, it is preferable to keep them in a single-species group in a dedicated aquarium.

A quality cichlid pellet, cichlid flakes that sinks to the bottom of the tank should be the foundation of their diet along with supplements of meat and vegetables. Filters are preferable. These fish can take a decent current, so almost any filtration system will work.
These tropical fish will need warmer water, so a heater is desirable in winter. A thermometer is also recommended to ensure the temperature is correct.
Artificial lighting is recommended, cichlids may like a system that dims or can be customized to match their native habitat.
Live plants are a great idea. You should choose only hardy plants because cichlids have a habit of digging and disturbing foliage.
