Description

Add soft, feathery texture to your aquascape with Rotala wallichii. Its delicate green to red and pink foliage creates a flowing look at the back of the aquarium, or a midground focal point when kept well pruned.

This plant suits keepers with some experience, as it has higher lighting and nutrient needs than many other plants. Native to Asia, it’s found in waterways of China, Vietnam and Thailand.

How to Use

  1. Plant in the midground or background of your aquarium.
  2. Provide high lighting for healthy, bushy growth and bright colour.
  3. Add liquid fertiliser, as it uses most nutrients from the water column.
  4. Prune regularly to control the size and shape.

Please note: This plant is best kept with fish that don’t eat plants and have calmer swimming habits. As it’s a live plant, its appearance may vary from the photo, and colour can change with your tank’s lighting and conditions.
