Mystus Striped Catfish are found in calm waters of lakes and ponds to flowing river waters. The are a shoaling species and form large groups in the wild. This catfish prefers a dimly lit aquarium with plenty of driftwood and foliage to hide amongst. Also known as the Asian Striped Catfish or Striped Dwarf Catfish.

- Light to dark brown bodies with white to yellow horizontal stripes the length of body

Mystus Striped Catfish are omnivores and are not fussy eaters. Feed a daily diet of sinking pellets and catfish wafers. Their diet can be supplemented with live, frozen or freeze dried bloodworms, blackworms, and brine shrimp.
