The Golden Pristella Tetra is also known as the X-ray tetra for it's transparent type body. They are a shoaling species and do best in groups of 6 of more. Native to the coast rivers of South America, it is a migratory species which means it tolerates a wide range of water parameters and adapts readily to the aquarium environment. The golden variety has a golden sheen to the body which is a partial albino variety.
