Description

Thin Vallisneria has green long and narrow leaves somewhat like ribbons, and is a popular aquarium plant due to it's easy care and undemanding needs. Suitable as a background plant, it's leaves grow long. It is a “true aquatic” plant, and needs to be submersed underwater at all times for its reproductive cycle.

Growth Rate

Moderate growth rate. Thin Vallisneria can be planted in gravel, sand and nutrient rich substrates. They are root feeders and benefit from additional iron.

Low to moderate lighting requirements.
