Egg-scatterer among plants, needs soft water. Fry initially require very small foods. Difficult to induce to breed.

 

Feeding

Omnivorous. Eats all normal foods, appreciates occasional feeds of live or frozen foods.

 

Additional Comments

Good community fish, prefers to be in a school. Most stock supplied is wild caught from Africa.
