Reproduction

Will not breed in aquaria, a catadromous species - adults migrate to estuaries to spawn during the wet season.

 

Feeding

Carnivore, prefers bulky live or frozen foods. Readily accepts pellet foods.

 

Additional Comments

Grows very quickly, becomes very tame and responsive to owner. Best kept as a single pet specimen, or with other large-growing species.
