Reproduction

Mouthbrooder, doesn't usually spawn in aquaria.

 

Feeding

Carnivore, readily accepts most foods. Will eat small tankmates.

 

Additional Comments

Fast growing species, very hardy and easy to care for. Smaller specimens have a colour pattern reminiscent of a great white shark (and an appetite to match!)
