Reproduction

Easily bred. After mating eggs are laid above water (eg on underside of coverglass).

 

Feeding

Omnivorous - useful for algae control and as a scavenger

 

Additional Comments

Larger than most commonly kept aquarium snails, the Mystery Snail is also a lovely bright golden colour. A good scavenger for tropical tanks. Please note: avoid the use of copper based treatments if invertebrates/snails are present in the tank.
