Reproduction

Little known regarding breeding, probably lays eggs in a mud burrow. Not yet bred in aquaria.

 

Feeding

Omnivorous, prefers live or frozen foods, but also accepts dry foods.

 

Additional Comments

: Fascinating brackish water fish that prefers habitat both above and below water (only partially fill the aquarium and aquas-cape to provide habitat extending above water level). Mudskippers also usually eat above water so place their food in a small shallow dish positioned above the water level.
