Feeding

Carnivore, prefers live or frozen foods, or pellets. Will eat small fish.

 

Additional Comments

Variable native gudgeon, with many subtle geographic colour variations. Hardy and easy to care for. Sometimes nip fins of tank mates, best kept in a good sized tank with similar sized or larger fish. An expert jumper, use a tight fitting lid.
