They’re native to the Amazon basin, Brazil. Not as commonly found in the aquarium trade, one for avid pleco collectors.

Features of Leopard Frog Pleco:

Tank Mate Compatibility:

Leopard Frog Pleco's are territorial towards their own species but are peaceful towards other peaceful smaller species. If keeping multiple Leopard Frog Pleco's together, ensure plenty of space and provide caves and territories for each to claim.

The Leopard Frog Pleco is omnivorous and has a liking for meaty snacks. Feed them algae wafers, flakes and sinking pellets. They also accept treats like live or frozen bloodworms, brine shrimp, and insect larvae. Vegetables such as zucchini can be fed once a week.
