Range

West Africa: Eastern Benin and Nigeria, Western Cameroon

 

Reproduction

Spawns in a cave, eggs and fry guarded by the parents. Easily bred and fry are easy to raise.

 

Feeding

Omnivorous. Eats all normal foods.

 

Additional Comments

Pairing fish. Needs hiding places. Good beginner's cichlid, adults are normally very good parents, Kribensis are an excellent choice for anyone wanting to keep a colourful Cichlid and observe their fascinating parental care.
