Reproduction

Mouthbrooder, extremely challenging to breed (rarely done so successfully in aquaria).

 

Feeding

Carnivorous. Eats all normal foods.

 

Additional Comments

Deepwater fish, prefers large open swimming space. Most stock sold is wild caught.
