Reproduction

Eggs are laid on a hard surface, the eggs (and hatched fry) are guarded by both parents.

 

Feeding

Omnivorous. Eats all normal foods.

 

Additional Comments

Moderate-sized Central American Cichlid, not as aggressive as larger types. Easily bred. Males grow much larger than females.
