Additional Comments
Best kept in a school with other (less aggressive) Tanganyikan Cichlids. In nature this species congregates in large schools in open water near rocky habitats, where it feeds on zoo plankton. Cyprichromis occur in many differently coloured geographic variations, multiple colour forms are often present in a single population.
