Description

API Super Activated Carbon for FilStar xP

Keep your aquarium water crystal clear and fresh with API Super Activated Carbon, high-quality canister filter media designed to fit the Rena FilStar xP filters. It removes dissolved organic waste, foul odours and discolouration from both freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

Activated carbon provides chemical filtration. It absorbs the dissolved impurities that mechanical and biological media can't remove, such as the yellow tint and odours that build up over time. The result is cleaner, clearer and fresher water that shows off your fish and aquascape at their best.

The carbon comes ready to use in a filter media bag, so it's easy to add to your canister without loose carbon or mess. Replace it regularly to keep your water quality at its best, as activated carbon loses effectiveness once it fills with impurities.
