Designed for aquariums up to 800 litres, it helps replenish the calcium corals, clams and other invertebrates use to build their skeletons and shells, supporting healthy coral growth with less manual dosing.
How it works
A calcium reactor uses CO₂ to gently lower the pH inside the reaction chamber, which slowly dissolves calcium-rich reactor media (such as aragonite). This releases calcium, alkalinity (carbonate hardness) and trace elements back into the aquarium in a balanced way, closely matching what corals consume.
Steady, hands-off supplementation
Once it's dialled in, the reactor provides a continuous, steady supply of essential elements, which helps reduce the swings that come with manual dosing. The clear chamber lets you check the media at a glance, and the integrated recirculation pump keeps water moving through the media for efficient dissolution.
