Aquarium Setup Silver Dollar – Dwarf Panda Spotted

Aquarium Filtration

Use a good-quality filter that keeps the water clean and well oxygenated. These active fish produce a reasonable amount of waste, so regular water changes are important.

Aquarium Plants

Plants can be used, but keep in mind that Silver Dollars may nibble on soft-leaved plants. Choose hardy plants or consider artificial plants if you want to protect your greenery.

Aquarium Lighting

Moderate lighting works well. Providing some shaded areas with plants or decorations can help the fish feel comfortable.

Aquarium Heating

Keep the aquarium between 24–28°C using a reliable heater.

Aquarium Substrate

Sand or smooth gravel is suitable. Choose a substrate that is easy to clean and safe for active fish.

Aquarium Decorations

Use driftwood, smooth rocks and hardy plants around the edges of the aquarium, while leaving plenty of open swimming space in the centre.
