Description

Dymax IS40 In-Sump Protein Skimmer is designed for marine and reef aquariums with a capacity of 600–1000 litres. Its in-sump design makes it suitable for installation within compatible sump filtration systems.

The skimmer features a cell-cast acrylic body, moulded connection components and an adjustable flow valve that allows the water level inside the skimmer to be fine-tuned for consistent foam production and waste collection.

How to Use

Place the IS40 securely inside a suitable sump filtration chamber.
Ensure the skimmer has adequate clearance for installation and removal of the collection cup.
Connect the inlet and outlet components securely.
Set the skimmer to the appropriate operating water level.
Start the pump and allow the skimmer to begin producing foam.
Adjust the flow valve gradually until a stable foam head is achieved.
Empty and clean the collection cup regularly as waste accumulates.
