How it works
A calcium reactor uses CO₂ to gently lower the pH inside the reaction chamber, which slowly dissolves calcium-rich reactor media (such as aragonite). This releases calcium, alkalinity (carbonate hardness) and trace elements back into the aquarium in a balanced way, closely matching what corals consume.
Steady, hands-off supplementation
Once it's dialled in, the reactor provides a continuous, steady supply of essential elements, which helps reduce the swings that come with manual dosing. The clear reaction chamber lets you check the media at a glance, and the integrated recirculation pump keeps water moving through the media for efficient dissolution.
