Description

The Straight Air Line Connector joins two lengths of standard 4 mm aquarium airline tubing into one continuous run. Use it to extend your airline, repair a damaged section, or reroute air to a new spot in your tank.

Simply push the tubing onto each end of the connector. No tools or glue are needed. It works with air pumps, air stones, sponge filters and air-driven ornaments in freshwater and marine aquariums.

How to Use

  1. Switch off your air pump.
  2. Cut the airline tubing cleanly with scissors at the point where you want to join or extend it.
  3. Push one length of tubing firmly onto each end of the connector.
  4. Switch the pump back on and check for steady bubbles at the outlet.

Please note: Fit a check valve between the pump and the tank if your pump sits below water level, to help prevent back-siphoning. Check connections periodically, as older tubing can harden and loosen over time.
