Description
The Blue Planet UView 24W Replacement Lamp is the replacement UV lamp module for the Blue Planet UView Aquarium Purifier 24W. Use it to replace an old, worn or broken UV lamp and restore your purifier’s performance.
The UV lamp is fully enclosed in black safety casing to prevent exposure to UV light. A built-in mini LED indicator lets you know when it’s time for a replacement. UV lamps gradually lose strength over time, even while they’re still glowing, so replacing them on schedule keeps your purifier working effectively.
As water passes the UV light, it helps control free-floating algae, bacteria and other microorganisms. This helps reduce green water and keep your aquarium looking clearer. Used alongside your regular filter, it helps maintain a cleaner, healthier-looking environment, and it’s a useful extra step when introducing new fish.

How to Use

Switch off and unplug the UView purifier before servicing.
- Remove the old lamp module as directed in the purifier’s instructions.
- Fit the new lamp module securely, reassemble the unit and check all seals before reconnecting.
- Restart the purifier and run it alongside your regular filter.
Please note: Never look directly at a UV lamp while it’s switched on, as UV light can damage eyes and skin. Always unplug before servicing. UV can reduce the effectiveness of some medications and water treatments, so check treatment directions and consider switching the purifier off during treatment. Only use with the Blue Planet UView 24W purifier.
