Description

The URS Turtle Tank is a purpose-built glass turtle enclosure with a stepped platform built around the outer edges of the tank. This design leaves more open swimming space in the centre, while giving your turtle plenty of room to climb out onto a sturdy, dry basking area to rest.

The lid locks securely in place and includes cable spaces so cords for internal filters and water heaters can pass through neatly. It’s made mostly of glass, with a central mesh band for ventilation. Two pressed sections in the mesh can be drilled out to fit light fittings, allowing for internal lighting.

How to Use

Place the tank on a strong, level surface that can support its full weight when filled.
Add water to a depth that suits your turtle, keeping the basking platform above the waterline.
Set up a suitable filter, water heater, UVB light and basking lamp, running cords through the cable spaces.
Clean the tank and change water regularly, as turtles produce lots of waste.

Please note: Equipment such as filters, heaters and lights is sold separately. Ensure lights and heat lamps are fitted safely and kept clear of water. Check your state’s licensing requirements before keeping native turtles.
