Molly Platinum Green Sailfin Roundtail is a refined freshwater livebearer showcasing a luminous metallic green-platinum body paired with a full, rounded tail fin and an impressive sail-like dorsal. This combination creates a smooth, flowing silhouette that stands out beautifully in planted or open aquariums. Known for its hardiness and adaptability, this molly variety is well suited to community tanks where stability and visual appeal are both priorities.

Molly Platinum Green Sailfin Roundtail is an omnivore with a strong requirement for plant-based nutrition. A high-quality flake or pellet food should form the staple diet, supplemented with spirulina-based foods to support digestion and colour health. Live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp and daphnia can be offered for variety. Blanched vegetables like zucchini, spinach, and cucumber are also highly beneficial. Feed 1–2 times daily in small portions.
Moderate to strong filtration is essential to maintain clean, oxygen-rich water. A canister filter or high-quality internal system is recommended for stability.
Hardy live plants such as Vallisneria, Anubias, and Java fern are ideal, providing cover and grazing surfaces while tolerating mollies’ active behaviour.
Moderate to bright lighting enhances their metallic green sheen and supports healthy plant growth.
Maintain a stable temperature between 24–28°C using a reliable aquarium heater for consistent conditions.
Fine gravel or sand substrate is suitable, offering a natural appearance and supporting planted aquascapes.
Include driftwood, rocks, and planted zones to create structure while maintaining open swimming areas for active movement.
