Aquarium Setup Molly – Shortbody Platinum

Aquarium Filtration

Use a reliable filter that keeps the water clean and provides gentle water movement. Regular water changes will help keep your Mollies healthy.

Aquarium Plants

Live plants are a great addition and provide shelter for both adult fish and fry. Hardy plants are ideal and can also help make the aquarium feel more natural.

Aquarium Lighting

Moderate lighting works well. Plants and decorations can provide shaded areas where the fish can retreat.

Aquarium Heating

Keep the aquarium between 24–28°C with a reliable aquarium heater.

Aquarium Substrate

Sand or fine gravel is suitable. A darker substrate can make the bright platinum colouring stand out.

Aquarium Decorations

Add plants, driftwood and smooth decorations to provide shelter while leaving plenty of open space for swimming.
