Tissue Culture – Eleocharis acicularis (Mini), also known as Dwarf Hairgrass, is a popular carpeting plant in aquascaping, prized for its fine, grass-like appearance and low-growing form. This miniature variety stays shorter than standard Hairgrass, creating a soft, natural carpet ideal for nano tanks and foreground layouts. In the Pisces Laboratory, Aquarium plants are cultivated using tissue-culture techniques in small pots of nutrient-rich sterile agar jelly. These little pots pack a lot of goodness in a small space and you will find multiple plants in each container.
Before planting in your aquarium, gently wash off the jelly and carefully split the plants into a few pieces if desired.
