Description

Create a lush, vibrant aquascape with Heteranthera zosterifolia, also known as Stargrass. This fast-growing stem plant has bright green, narrow leaves arranged in a star shape, adding volume and a fresh, natural look to freshwater aquariums.

It’s ideal for midground and background planting, where it gives good coverage and contrasts well with red and finer-leaved plants. With regular trimming it grows into a dense, bushy group, and under stronger light and CO₂ it becomes even more compact.

How to Plant

  1. Remove the pot and gently take away the rock wool from around the roots.
  2. Separate the stems into small bunches.
  3. Plant each bunch into nutrient-rich substrate, spacing them so light can reach the lower leaves.
  4. Trim regularly and replant healthy cuttings to fill out the group.
