They are a good match with many other peaceful fish. The Raffles Butterflyfish can be housed with other butterfly fish. It is recommended that they are kept in small groups of three to four. Avoid housing them with other territorial species or those who prey on smaller fish. They are not reef safe as they nip at corals and small invertebrates.
Raffles Butterflyfish are omnivores so their diet should consist of a variety of foods including Mysis shrimp, black worms and flake foods including spirulina.
Raffles Butterflyfish require a minimum tank size of approximately 200L as they are active swimmers so require large open areas to swim. They also like places to hide and feed in crevices so rocks are a great addition along with some algae growth.
