The Cyprichromis leptosoma “Jumbo Kitumba” is an African Cichlid native to the deep, open waters of Lake Tanganyika. Distinguished by its vibrant colouration and schooling behaviour, this variant is larger than the standard leptosoma and prized for its dynamic presence in Tanganyikan aquariums. Males typically exhibit electric blue bodies with yellow or orange tails, while females are more subdued in colour. Despite their cichlid classification, they are peaceful, pelagic swimmers, thriving in large groups and upper water zones.
