Discus fish are a tropical freshwater species native to the Amazon Basin in South America. These fish are highly prized for their vibrant and diverse colors, ranging from blues and greens to oranges and reds. Their disc-shaped body and flowing fins create a mesmerizing display in any aquarium. Discus require well-filtered water and regular partial water changes.

A 40L tank is the minimum size for keeping a single discus fish. It is important to note that discus fish like staying in a group of 5-6 and it is not recommended to keep them isolated in a tank.
