Description

Dymax Active Carbon

Keep your aquarium water clear, fresh and odour-free with Dymax Active Carbon. Made specifically for freshwater and marine aquariums, this high-quality activated carbon works inside your filter to help remove impurities that make water look and smell less than its best.

How it works

Activated carbon has a huge internal surface area that adsorbs dissolved organic substances from the water as it flows through your filter. It helps remove discolouration (such as the yellow tint from tannins in driftwood), odours and dissolved organic compounds like carbolic and tannic acids, leaving your water looking crystal clear.

Easy to use

Simply rinse, add to a filter media bag or compartment, and place it in your filter. Replace it regularly, as carbon gradually fills up and stops working over time. The 500g pack gives you plenty for multiple changes or larger filters.

Key Features

  • Activated Carbon: High-quality chemical filter media.
  • Removes Discolouration: Helps clear yellow or tea-coloured water.
  • Reduces Odours: Keeps aquarium water smelling fresh.
  • Removes Dissolved Organics: Adsorbs organic compounds and impurities.
  • Freshwater and Marine: Suitable for all aquarium types.

Suitable For: Freshwater and marine aquariums with a filter.
