Installation Tips

  1. Turn off and unplug the filter before servicing.
  2. Remove the filter head or housing as required.
  3. Carefully remove the old sealing ring and clean the sealing groove.
  4. Lightly lubricate the new sealing ring with aquarium-safe silicone grease.
  5. Install the new O-ring evenly, ensuring it is not twisted.
  6. Reassemble the filter and tighten the clamps or locking mechanism securely.
  7. Restart the filter and inspect for leaks before returning it to normal operation.

For best performance, inspect the sealing ring during every major filter service and replace it if it shows signs of cracking, flattening, or wear.
