Neolamprologus buescheri,, also known as Buescher’s Cichlid, is a striking species of African cichlid, is endemic to the rocky shorelines of Lake Tanganyika. Known for its elongated body, dark vertical bars, and iridescent blue sheen, this species is favoured by aquarists who appreciate both visual appeal and territorial behaviour. Although smaller in size, Neolamprologus buescheri exhibits classic Tanganyikan cichlid aggression and should be housed with care in species-appropriate tanks.
