Pearl Danio's are one of the most attractive freshwater fish due to its iridescent colors. They are top-swimming fish, easy-going and hardy. Originating from fast-moving streams and rivers, and accustomed to strong water currents. Danios are generally peaceful freshwater fish, but can become nippy if not kept in a large-enough school. They are hardy and active, suited for beginners.

Pearl Danio Diet:

Pearl Danios are omnivores and are not fussy eaters. Danios will eat any food that floats on the waters surface. Feed danios flakes, floating pellets, and vegetables. We recommend supplementing the diet with live, frozen and freeze dried foods like daphnia, bloodworms, and brine shrimp as a high-protein treat.

Pearl Danios are compatible with peaceful fish of a similar size. Avoid keeping with slow-swimming, long-finned fish because Pearl Danio are known to be fin-nippers. Large, predatory tank mates will view Pearl Danio as food.
