Pro Filtration 4 Stage RO/DI Boosted System
Produce pure, contaminant-free water for your reef, marine, or freshwater aquarium with the Pro Filtration 4 Stage RO/DI Boosted System. This complete reverse osmosis and deionisation unit removes chlorine, chloramines, heavy metals, nitrates, phosphates, and hundreds of other dissolved contaminants — delivering 0 ppm TDS water that is safe for the most demanding reef aquariums.
The integrated booster pump is the key advantage of this system — it dramatically increases water pressure, allowing the RO membrane to achieve excellent TDS rejection, extending the life of your DI resin, and producing filtered water significantly faster than non-boosted systems. It is the perfect solution for anyone with low tap water pressure or anyone who wants to spend less time waiting for filtered water to be produced.
Housed on a single compact bracket, the system is easy to store and ideal for both permanent and non-permanent installations. Colour-coded ¼" tubing makes setup simple — yellow for production water, red for waste water, white for source water — and a common undersink tap adaptor is included for hassle-free connection.
4-Stage Filtration Process

Stage 1 — Sediment Filter: Removes sediment, dust, rust, and debris that could clog the carbon block or damage the RO membrane. Features true step filtration with 4 separate micron layers for exceptional dirt-holding capacity

Stage 2 — Carbon Block Filter: Manufactured from high-purity coconut shell activated carbon — removes chlorine, chloramines, VOCs, tastes, and odours that would degrade the RO membrane

Stage 3 — RO Membrane (Thin Film Composite): High-quality TFC reverse osmosis membrane — removes lead, copper, barium, chromium, mercury, sodium, cadmium, fluoride, nitrite, nitrate, selenium, and hundreds of other dissolved contaminants

Stage 4 — Mixed Bed DI Resin (Colour Changing): Final polishing stage using colour-changing mixed bed DI resin — reduces TDS to 0 ppm and gives a clear visual indicator when resin is exhausted and requires replacement

Important installation notes
- Optimal operating water pressure: 50–100 psi — the booster pump compensates for low tap pressure
- Pressure below 50 psi without the booster pump causes slow production and excess wastewater
- Pressure above 100 psi may damage system components — use a pressure reducer if your tap pressure exceeds this
- Replace filters regularly: sediment and carbon every 6–12 months, RO membrane every 2–3 years, DI resin when colour change indicates exhaustion
