Seachem Axolotl Buffer

Maintain an appropriate pH range for your axolotl aquarium with Seachem Axolotl Buffer. Specifically formulated for axolotls, this buffer adjusts aquarium water to a target pH of 7.4–7.6 and can help maintain stable conditions within this range.

Axolotl Buffer works by adjusting pH from either a higher or lower starting point and softens water by precipitating calcium and magnesium. Seachem states that the product is safe and effective for use with all axolotls.

Directions

Use 5mL (1 capful) for every 10L of aquarium water. Dose twice weekly or as needed to maintain a pH between 7.4 and 7.6.

The product may be added directly to the aquarium. Very hard water may require a double or triple dose. Always monitor pH and adjust gradually rather than making sudden changes.

Important Note

Axolotl Buffer is for pH management and is not a water conditioner. For removing chlorine and chloramine and detoxifying ammonia, Seachem recommends using Axolotl Conditioner separately.
