Description

Jurassic Natural Tropical Coco Soil is a natural substrate made for humidity-loving reptiles, amphibians and live plants. It’s made from 100% natural coconut pith, a sustainable material harvested from a renewable resource.

The soft, fine grain is highly absorbent, helping you manage tropical humidity. It absorbs and releases moisture into the enclosure as needed, which suits rainforest species and planted vivariums. It’s easy to shape into mounds and gullies to create a natural-looking terrain.

How to Use

  1. Lightly moisten the coco soil if needed, then spread it evenly across the enclosure floor to a depth of about 4–5 cm.
  2. Shape it into mounds, slopes or gullies to suit your terrain design.
  3. When planting, build up enough substrate to cover the roots and hold plants firmly.
  4. Spot clean as needed, and top up or replace periodically.

Please note: Feed insects and food from a dish where possible, to reduce the chance of your pet swallowing substrate. Monitor humidity with a hygrometer and keep the enclosure well ventilated to prevent mould.
