Twisted Vallisneria has bright to deep green long leaves that twist into ribbons. It is a popular aquarium plant due to it's easy care and undemanding needs. Suitable as a midground to background plant.

Easy to keep. Tolerates broad water conditions and produces off shoots readily in the aquarium.

  • Water Hardness: 50 - 300 ppm

Placement

Midground to background placement in the aquarium. 

Growth Rate

Moderate growth rate. Twisted Vallisneria can be planted in gravel, sand and nutrient rich substrates. They are root feeders and benefit from additional iron.

Lighting

Low to moderate lighting requirements.
