Aquarium Filtration
A filtration system is necessary. In the tank, you have to remove the wastes as early as possible. With the help of a strong filtration system, this task becomes easy. Make sure the filter matches with your tank size.

Heater
Heater may needed in winter, the ideal tank temperature is 22 - 30° C. Thermometer is recommended to monitor the water temperature.
Decorations
Providing hiding places for them is of utmost importance. You may put some driftwood, rock caves, terra cotta spots or tubes in the aquarium. A hungry sucker fish will also eat any live plants, so if you want plants in the tank, they could be plastic or slik.

Lighting
