Description

The Aqua One 54s Sponge 2 Pack is a set of genuine replacement sponges for the Aqua One ClearView 100 hang-on filter. The sponge is the filter’s mechanical stage, trapping debris and fine particles as water passes through, which helps keep the aquarium clear.

Sponges clog and lose their shape over time, which slows the flow through the filter. Fitting a fresh sponge helps the filter keep working properly. These are cut to size for the ClearView 100, so they drop straight in.

How to Use

  1. Unplug the filter at the power point.
  2. Remove the old sponge from the filter.
  3. Rinse the new sponge in aquarium water, then fit it in place.
  4. Restart the filter and check the water is flowing normally.
  5. Between replacements, rinse the sponge in a bucket of aquarium water during water changes.
