Description

The Aqua One 2S Sponge Pad 2 Pack is a set of genuine replacement sponges for the Aqua One AquaStyle 510 and LifeStyle 52 aquariums. The sponge sits in the aquarium’s trickle filter, trapping larger particles of debris as water passes through, and gives beneficial bacteria a surface to grow on.

Sponges clog and break down over time, which reduces how well the filter works. The pads can be rinsed and reused, then replaced once the sponge structure starts to deteriorate. These are cut to size, so they drop straight in.

How to Use

  1. Unplug the filter at the power point.
  2. Remove the old sponge pad from the filter tray.
  3. Rinse the new pad in aquarium water, then fit it in place.
  4. Restart the filter and check the water is flowing normally.
  5. Between replacements, rinse the pad in a bucket of aquarium water during water changes.
