The Super Black Crystal Shrimp is a striking variety of Caridina shrimp, prized for its deep black and crisp white coloration that creates a bold, eye-catching contrast. This dwarf freshwater shrimp is a favourite among aquascaping enthusiasts and thrives in well-planted nano tanks with stable, clean water conditions.
Females generally grow larger than males, reaching up to 4 cm in length, while males typically stay around 2.5–3 cm. Due to their small size and peaceful nature, they should only be kept with gentle, non-aggressive tank mates. Larger or predatory fish can easily harm or stress these delicate shrimp.
