Planting Tips
- Rinse the plant gently before planting.
- Trim any damaged or excessively long roots if necessary.
- Plant the roots into a nutrient-rich aquarium substrate, leaving the crown above the substrate.
- Space plants a few centimetres apart to allow runners to spread naturally.
- Avoid burying the crown, as this may cause the plant to rot.
- Use root tabs or nutrient-rich substrate to encourage healthy root development.
- Allow several weeks for the plant to establish before expecting significant growth.
Note: Like many Cryptocoryne species, Cryptocoryne parva may experience "Crypt melt" after planting or relocation. This is a normal adaptation process, and healthy roots typically produce new leaves once the plant has acclimated.
