Description
The Neon Black Tetra is also known as the Black Tetra or Black Neon. The Neon Black Tetra is a peaceful shoaling species and enjoys a planted aquarium in groups of 6 or more. Suited to beginner aquarists this energetic fish has a unique black stripe down the body.
Native to the Paraguay basin of southern Brazil found in small tributaries, creeks, and flooded forest floor.

- Slightly deeper bodied than other neon tetra's
- Energetic and active swimmers
- Grows up to 4cm
