Description

Chemi-Clean by Boyd Enterprises is a fast-acting aquarium treatment for cyanobacteria, commonly known as red slime algae. It helps clear stains from red, black, blue-green and bubble-forming cyanobacteria, leaving your tank looking cleaner and fresher.

It works within 48 hours and is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. One 2g pack treats up to 1135 litres (300 US gallons), and a measuring scoop is included.

How to Use

  1. Increase aeration with an air stone or strong surface agitation before you start.
  2. Dissolve one level scoop per 10 US gallons (about 38 litres) in a cup of tank water.
  3. Pour the solution back into the aquarium, spreading it evenly.
  4. Keep normal water flow running and leave for up to 48 hours.
  5. After 48 hours, do a 20% water change.
