Chameleon Shrimp are very colorful and unique freshwater shrimp, They are an ideal invertebrate for nano tanks and thrive in planted tanks. Chameleon shrimp are very simliar size as Cherry Shrimp and they are also great scavengers. Chameleon Shrimp are not picky eater. They are happy to eat most foods. Feed chameleon shrimp a diet of  like Dymax Shrimp Pellets, Hikari Shrimp Cuisine, Sera Shrimps Natural Sinking Granulets, Hikari Algae Wafers. Chameleon shrimp enjoy eating algae off the walls and surfaces in the tank. You could encourage algae growth by adding aquantic plants to the tank.

Aquarium Lights and Lighting

Shrimps don't require any specific lights.  Lighting system is mainly for the planted aquarium. It ensures the healthy of Aquantic plans and also encourages algae growth in your tank.

Shrimp Tank Filter

Shrimp are very sensitive to ammonia and nitrite, so a good filtration system is very neccessary to house the shrimp well. Popular choice for shrimp tanks could be: sponge filter, Hang on Back Filter, or Matten Filter.

Heater for Shrimp tank

Heater is an option for your Chameleon Shrimp Only tank. You can consider to add a heater in the community aquarium tank. A thermometer is recommended to control the water temperature.

Chameleon shrimp

Arrived in great health. Unfortunately i put them in a tank with rosy barbs and end of shrimp so a very expensive learning experience and a very expensive feed for my fish. Not a good experience but my fault
