The Sajica T-Bar Cichlid (Cryptoheros sajica) is a medium-sized, semi-aggressive species native to the rivers of Costa Rica. Named for the distinctive T-shaped bar across its body, this cichlid displays earthy tones of gold, grey, and blue, often highlighted with iridescent hues in males. Sajica cichlids are known for their intelligence, parental care, and compatibility in peaceful cichlid communities. They are ideal for aquarists seeking a low-maintenance, character-rich species with manageable aggression.

A variety of Substrates are available at Coburg Aquarium.
Aquarium Decorations
Create natural hiding places with driftwood, rocks, and caves. These provide territory boundaries and breeding spaces for bonded pairs.
